Camp Happy Days’ mission is to offer support and encouragement to children diagnosed with cancer and their families by providing cost free year round programs, special events and access to crisis resources. Since 1982, CHD has been providing children affected by pediatric cancer the opportunity to feel normal and participate in activities that they otherwise could not. In 2021 Camp Happy Days held over 60 events serving 1,072 children in South Carolina.
Sylvan Arms has partnered with Palmetto Police Motorcycle Skills Competition (PPMSC) to raise awareness of pediatric cancer and raise donations for Camp Happy Days. The PPMSC is dedicated to providing a safe and challenging training opportunity to the Police motorcylce operators who attended the event, while simultaneously benefiting selected charities.Â
This years PPMSCV event hosted 24 Law Enforcement Agencies from across the country and Canada. There were over 70 riders entered in the three-day event. This year’s donation to Camp Happy Days has not been announced yet but the event raised over one hundred thousand dollars since the program started. This year the event raised more than any other year sibce the events inception.
