Sylvan Arms AR-9 Extended Bolt Carrier Extension – The AR-9 Extended Bolt Carrier Extension is meant to be used for our Gen. 3 Folding Stock Adapter. Only if our standard bolt extension comes up short, you may need this part. This will be needed only if you have to remove your BCG weight and it shortens your BCG.
PLEASE NOTE that this is a replacement for our BCG Replacement Weight.
This extension is about 3.75 inches. Our standard is about 2.75 inches.
Not all AR-9s require this Extension. Below is a list of the very few 9mm BCGs that have required our extension in the past.
